TEDxLSU speakers go through a rigorous speaker coaching process to prepare them and their talk for the stage. Each speaker is matched with a speaker coach who helps them get showtime ready.
A major part of the process is the speaker rehearsals, or as the TEDxLSU team likes to call them “dry-runs.” Dry-runs are the first time speakers give their talk to an audience and, typically, it’s the first time they are on the LSU Union Theater stage. But this year offered a few obstacles, like icy roads and low water pressure. As the temperature dropped to record-setting lows on the scheduled rehearsal dates, the team had to improvise (and get a helping hand from the Louisiana Technology Park).
So, how did the team deal with the freezing weather? Check out this behind the X view to find out.
